St. Dalfour Puff Pastry Blackcurrant Braid

With this Puff Pastry Black Currant Braid recipe, you'll be sure to wow everyone that gets a taste!

INGREDIENTS

2 cups fresh blackcurrants  
5 oz. blackcurrant fruit spread  
1 sheet puff pastry thawed 
1 egg plus 1 tsp water for egg wash 
1 Tablespoon sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Slice Puff Pastry into 3 strands (lengthwise)
  2. Spread St Dalfour Blackcurrant fruit spread onto puff pastry strands. Add blackcurrants for texture.
  3. Braid puff pastry. Brush over top with egg wash.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes at 400 degrees. 
  5. Serve warm with ice cream.
