Our story begins after the turn of the 19th century, in the vineyards of Aquitaine, a lush land nestled between the Pyrenees Mountains and Bordeaux, lovingly called the Garden of France.

There, amidst the vines, the first St. Dalfour recipe was created: a way to transform the abundance of fruit into something pure and enduring.

A Legacy Passed
Through Generations

Handed down through three generations, our family recipe uses only 100% fruit, sweetened naturally with vineyard-ripened grape “must”, the sweet by-product of winemaking.

This rare ingredient gives each spread its delicate balance and allows the fruit’s true character to shine.

In Marmande, a region celebrated for its exceptional fruit-growing terroir, our Maître Confiturier carries forward the same artisanal process.

Carefully selected fruit is gently simmered in traditional copper kettles, in small batches, to preserve its natural texture and complexity.

Never any cane sugar. Never any additives. Only the simple perfection of fruit and time.
