Chocolate Hearts Filled with Raspberry Fruit Spread

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 oz dark or milk chocolate, melted
  • 6 oz white chocolate, melted
  • St. Dalfour Raspberry & Pomegranate Fruit Spread

  • Heart-shaped silicone chocolate mold

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Gently melt the dark or milk chocolate and the white chocolate separately using a double boiler or microwave in short intervals, stirring until smooth.

  2. Spoon a thin layer of melted chocolate into each heart cavity, using the back of a spoon or a pastry brush to coat the bottom and sides evenly. Place the mold in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes, or until set.

  3. Once the shells are firm, add a small spoonful of St. Dalfour Raspberry & Pomegranate Fruit Spread into the center of each heart. Be careful not to overfill.

  4. Cover each filled heart with more melted chocolate to seal the top, smoothing gently with a spatula or spoon.

  5. Return the mold to the refrigerator for 20 to 30 minutes, until fully set.

  6. Carefully pop the chocolates out of the mold and enjoy right away or store in an airtight container in a cool place.
